What is VPN?

Many people yet even now in 2015 are not aware what exactly is VPN. VPN stands for Virtual Private Network and is offered at set price (or very rarely for free) from many competencies around the world. Businesses use VPN to connect remote data centers and individuals use it to access websites not available at their location or simply to protect their online privacy.
The simplest way to explain how VPN works is - you use a small software program provided by the company you sign up for, this stays on your PC or Mac or mobile phone, and to connect to the internet you just launch the software, login with your credentials and pick the server you want to be connected to. This server can be in your country or in a completely different country , most VPN providers have multiple server (access points) and you can pick one. Now once you are in the network your internet browsing is secured on  multiple levels and the VPN will insure that all the data you are sending and receiving encrypted and secure from eavesdropping.
Some individuals use VPN to access websites blocked by their country's government or internet provider , some use it for the privacy benefits - either way using a VPN is very useful and affordable and in most cases you will not experience any slow down in speeds. We've used and can recommend ProXPN - not the biggest or well known company out of the many who offer VPN,  they don't spend much on ads but concentrate on their product and it is top notch. You can read the review and how to save some money on your monthly or yearly plans here . Or just go to their official website and read on there what ProXPN is all about and what they offer
